1. I don't believe that the drinking age should be lower. The same amount of kids are going to drink underage, no matter if the legal age is 21 or not. Lowering the drinking age would only cause the good kids to drink earlier, kids who were going to wait anyway. I don't think many kids drink underage just because it is illegal, they drink to get drunk.

2. I don't believe that legalizing marijuana could be benifit our country in any way. Legalizing marijuana would encourage the people who do it while it's illegal, they would feel like they knew it was good all along.

3. I think that perscribing marijuana could help people in some cases. However, I think it should only be used as a last resort. If marijuana is the only way to help the person in pain, then I think by all means that the doctor should give them what they need. The problem with this is many people might request marijana, and handing anyone marijuana who asks for it is probably not a good idea! The patients could benifit from the numbing sensations that the drug brings. The biggest reprocussion is the drug falling into the wrong hands.

4. I think that raising drug awareness in school would be amazing. Some kids smoke or drink and don't know the downsides. Your health could be preserved if you saw during class what drugs can do to your body. The D.A.R.E program we have is exellent, and I remember almost everything I learned. I think that programs such as these should be available to everyone. Making drug abuse a part of the public school curriculum could help reduce the number of teens who do drugs without knowing the reprocussions.

5. I think increasing punishment severeness would help society. I think that the abuser would consider the consequences of their actions, before engaging in illgeal behavior. It might make some think twice before doing something wrong. If someone still did it while knowing what could happen, the maybe the severity of the punishment could keep them from doing it agian.
